Worlds Apart
Recently, my significant other and I, made our first trip to the ever-so-popular Mt.Charleston in Nevada. Many tourists believe Las Vegas is surrounded by desert...until they go to Mt.Charleston where there is snow in the winter (including several ski lifts), waterfalls, and forests. Although only 30 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip, Mt. Charleston is worlds away in atmosphere and nature. Being from the Bay Area and living so close to Tahoe, Mt.Charleston is the closest I can get to Tahoe while living in Las Vegas. Lets just say this won't be our last trip there!
